stripped wiper arm 850

I have rescued 740 wiper arms for years.

Always clean the splines mentioned in the other post then -

1st try - add a washer under the nut - this pushes the arm down further, and often the splines will work.

2nd try - add some soft metal to the splined shaft to take up space. I have wrapped small diameter, soft copper wire around the splined area and used the arm for a season or so.

3rd try - new wiper arm.

Check the nuts often, always park your wipers when you complete a trip, and always clean all ice and snow off before you run the wipers.

Good luck
