seatbelt fraying? S40-V40

Hi

Is anyone else's (driver's side) seat belt fraying? If you take a look at the slot that the selt belt retracts in, the edge, indented, closest to the door sill looks sharp. Well, the sharp edge has started to fray the seat belt. What terrible design. I can't believe the edges of the seat belt slot would be sharp enough to begin fraying the seat belt. Anyone else seeing this?!?!?
