cooling fan ghost V70-XC70 2001

Engine cooling fan under hood; normal for this fan to continue running for a few minutes after shutting down a hot engine. If this fan is running an hour later, there is a problem and should be checked out.
Climate control fan inside cabin; If the A/C has run for at least five minutes, then this fan will start and run at full speed for five min. aprox 50 minutes after engine shutdown to dry out the A/C evaporator and prevent mold/mildew from forming. It is called "afterblow", and if you search, there is a sentence or 2 about it in the owners manual.
