TRANS LIMP IM MODE 850 1993

Code 1-1-4 : Mode Selector Switch Circuit Malfunction

Code 1-4-3 : Short To Ground In Kickdown Switch Circuit

Code 2-2-2 : Open In No. 2 Shift Solenoid Circuit

Code 3-1-3 : Gear Position Sensor Signal Incorrect

The Mode Selector switch is your Winter/Sport/Economy switch there on the console. You can try pulling the switch out and cleaning it out with some electrical spray cleaner (too much crap spilled into it ?) and see if it'll start working again. That or replace it.

The Gear Position Sensor is mounted there on top of the tranny where the shift cable connects (the famous PNP switch). You'll most likely have to replace it. You can look over on Bay 13 for more detail on this.

Clear up these two items and clear the DTC codes and hopefully it'll cure your tranny problems. Put your email address in your profile and I can send you the troubleshooting guide from the shop manual.
