Keyless Remotes on EBAY V70-XC70

hi,
on a 2002 you cant reprogramme the remote to another car with out the 2 codes that come with the remote when new, one is a 16 digit code and one 8 digit code.
even then im not sure they can be reprogrammed to another car once they have been programmed to a car allready. as a tech this is not something we would normally have to do, i would tell the person to just buy a new remote.
