Turbo, T-5 - the same? 850 1996

"am I correct that this is the T-5 engine for 1996"

No. There was no T-5 engine for 1996. What you have is a 1996 850 Turbo Wagon; that is a very precise nomenclature and will allow the buyer to research its specifications and list price. A similar or even identical engine appeared in the 1997 T-5, and while that is an interesting bit of trivia, it is not particularly relevant.

It would be misleading to list your car as a T-5. Whether that works toward your advantage or against is for you to decide.
