POSITION LIGHT faulty message

Typical Volvo problem that goes back to the 240's and older. The aluminum contacts corrode. Get steel wool and clean both the bottom of the bulb and the seat until they shine. Do this for all of the bulbs, not just one. The bulb out warning light comes on when there is a disparity of voltage between one bulb and the other on the same circut.
Remember, if a bulb goes out, you must replace both sides of the system, not just the bad bulb.
