Radio/Antenna S70 1998

Question,

Can I splice in a switch (SP, ST or maybe SP, DT not sure if I need ground) to turn on or turn off the power antenna when the radio is on to avoid having to purchase the wiring harness? How would I do this? I'm thinking it's as easy as splicing in an on/off switch (SP, ST)into the power antenna lead at the back of the radio (3A wire?). What's the power requirements on the switch.Thanks
