Back from the shop and not happy:( 850

Chris and everyone, thanks so much for your advice! I have a 94 850 WITH Trac.

Well, since this morning I have gone hmmm maybe close to a 100 miles around the area, and gone through half a bottle of fluid. It is definitely a pain in the nether regions to keep dumping it in there every time the idiot light goes on, but MUCH better than the alternative.

We have an appt with another shop next week, they are going to double check all the fittings. I am going to make sure the part my friend has is for an 850 WITH trac, as I know it makes a difference. If it isn't, then I will be back to pick all of your brains for a good place to get the right pump and a decent price.

I love this car, and we talked about other options, such as selling it,taking it off the road, etc.. and agree that for everything about it that is a negative, the positives outweigh it. Though we know when it is time for our new Volvo, it won't be an 850..are they like the bad seed of the Volvo family?

I will keep you posted, and if anything else arises this weekend..which I really hope not, I am sure I'll be back. In the meantime, send me any links you find to a supplier of this pump just in case, if you could. Thanks:)
