Coolant level light 850 1993

My 850's coolant level light is on. I know why, the level sensor is bad, but I am too cheap to replace it, so is there anyway to just make it go out? I will buy the sensor before I remove the intrument cluster to take out the bulb. Didn't know if you could just jump it or something.
