A really quiet alarm S80 2000

Hi there,

I have an S60, but I have a customer that has an S80 and his alarm (NOT the honking panic alarm, but the screeching alarm...like if someone attempts to break in.)

IS SUPER quiet. I set mine off in my S60, and it would scare anyone away, his is about 1/4 of the loudness... so if it works but is quiet, does the siren or whatever REALLY have to be replaced on a 2000 year car? That seems crazy. Can someone help with this?

Thanks!
