the ignition department:

sp. plugs
sp plug wires
ignition wires
cap and rotor

These are more common than fuel problems.

I'd check the above. If they have not been replaced 50K is a good time to change them.

Auto stores sell ethanol-type package you can use to absorb excessive moiture in the gas tank.

If too much water in fuel car won't start anyway. So not likely you have any water in the fuel tank.
