I just flushed my 1999 v70 with mobil 1 synthetic. Very easy job to do by yourself, one hour maximum. I paid $5/quart and used 12 quarts. I am not sure how big the difference is between 01 v70 and 99 one. From what I read, many people here used Mobil 1 synthetic.
