Water Pump and more 850 1994

Well, I would be sure to check the oil cap seal. I just did the timing belt and front seal on a 93 with 130k on the engine, and about 285k on the body. I thought that everything on the front of the engine was leaking, but it turns out that most of the oil was coming out a bad seal on the cap, running over the valve cover, down the seam between the cover and head, and then down the head. When I had it to my indie for the rear main seal, he said the cam seals, front and rear, and the valve cover were leaking. It all pretty much stopped, however, when I changed oil cap seal.

Between the front and rear seals, I was losing 1 quart/350 miles. New seals have closed the floodgates!
