I don't think you have a motor mount problem, if the motor mounts are gone you can either feel the engine flexing under acceleration (top mount) or the engine will visibly sit too low in the chassis (remaining mounts).

Did you replace your upper strut mounts? If not do this asap. There are several screws that hold the dash to the chassis, mine were loose when I bought the car and the dash did rattle like mad on bumps.
