Changeing steering rack on a 99 XC70 Volvo V70-XC70 1999

Hello,
I have searched for weeks to find someone that has changed a PS rack on the above vehicle. No one has responded! Some where in the world there must be someone (other than a garage mechanic) who has performed the operation. Either it is so difficult that no one wants to talk about it, or it is so exceedingly simple that people think I am too stupid to talk to!
At this point I have it completely disconnected, but can't see a way to remove it from the mounting. I've noticed that there is a note to lower the subframe. On this particular car it seems to be securely welded in place.
Will someone help an old man, that is in deep trouble with his wife?

Please!!
