ECC and fault codes - something got toasted! 850 1993

it's a chain reaction you witnessed. the tired blower motor has been drawing too many amps, which then made the blower resistor suffer. when the resistor started drawing too many amps, it came from the controller. well, controllers don't suffer long with a high amp draw and that's why the smoke and all the codes. pull the controller and smell it, it should smell eletrically burnt. replace all 3 things, clear the codes and i'll bet you won't see 1 coded come back. seen it twice in the past 6 mos. good luck, chuck.
