Vibration from exhaust V70-XC70 1998

Check the motor mount on the passenger side, behind the crankshaft pulley. The rubber often cracks, causing the metal part of the motor mount bracket to come in contact with the metal subframe. Volvospeed.com has instructions for replacing the motormount in the Bay13 maintenance area.

The upper motor mount (actually it is a torque rod) at the top of the engine fails quite often also.
