Final word on the 850 transmission 'clunk' 850

OK - I had the clunk when I put my 95 850 turbo in Reverse. I checked the front mount and it was shredded, so I replaced it. No clunk now, but a light "tug" I cant imagine this mount lasting too long with the strain it is under. Do 850's just shift hard? The idle is about 900 rpms and the other mounts are fine. The fluid is fresh and it shifts well, just hard. Did anyone here have a new one (850) that performed the same way? Thanks.
