Locating ABS module in 850 fwd 850 1996

Hello, I am new here. Have a 96 turbo 850 fwd wagon which has a failing ABS module resulting in the abs/tracs light coming on and me having a bizarre feel sometimes as I brake and it fails as I do so. I don't like that, and will be sending the module in to Vic who can repair it (he has good results per Edmund's Volvo board)

Ok--so my problem is this. Husband had a midlife crisis a couple of months ago, so no help there. The photos Vic has on his site are for non-turbo model, or the turbo model shown in the photos are for a V70. Both no help to me.

I have the E5 Torx wrench and the gumption to do the job, yet *hangs head in shame* I have no clue where this thing lives. I know I have to move the air cleaner duct out of the way, but I am clueless. I have been to the library to look at Chilton's books, but they are no help. Nor or course is the local dealer who wants $800 to replace the module. No way--and they laughed when I asked if they would show me where the module was.

So---here I am. Do any of you know of a site where I could find some photos, clearly labeled, of what my engine looks like and what all those goodies are under the hood? This isn't as easy as I thought, though Vic says several women have done the work with no trouble---I just need a bit of a hand. Or, are there any books out there for my car which label the engine compartment bits so I have a clue where to start? Any hope of scanning the page and helping me out a bit?

Or--conversely, has anyone done this and had a terrible time of it? Am I biting off more than I can chew? BTW, the car has 95K on it---I could live with no ABS in all honesty, but I have literally had it fail as I was braking (with a motorized hummmm coming from the engine compartment)...not a good feeling, so I'd rather fix it. Plus winter is upon me and I need the TRACS.

Thank you in advance, and I apologize for the length of this first post. Oh, and here is the link to vic's site....
