Considering purchasing a 94 850 turbo with 150K 850 1994

I used to be a member back in the 90's then moved overseas and didn't have a car for a while I am back and just bought a 2002 v70xc it is great and I am considering buying a second car for my younger brother.

The car has 150 k miles, interior is cloth and a bit worn, It is being offered for $2500 by two friends that are moving. It needs a timing belt and front seal which their shop quoted a price of 900 for the timing belt and an extra 100 for the seal. I have test driven it and it pulls strong but the rear tires need to be replaced. Is this a good buy for $2500?

thanks
