crankcase ventelation system 850

Hi, Symptoms sound similar to what I went through twice. I bought a '97 855na with 110K on it, and quickly had to do the main seal. It was done 'OK' by a knowledgable independent shop,($850) was redone a few months later by another shop. THEY REPLACED MORE PCV COMPONENTS. Just what all the parts are, I don't know, but more is more in this case. It was very close to the same price, because the trouble is in the labor. Find a shop that knows this problem. It is common and costly. Don't just do a flame trap and think that is it. This PCV problem is a constant concern with these models, the only problem is that no one ever tells you that. (except on this site) Otherwise they're the best cars.
