850 drivers door problem 850

having a minor problem with my 850's drivers side door. opened it the other day, and heard something "snap," a metallic breaking noise. opened and shut the door, seemed ok, no more noises. later i realized what had broken. the door no longer opens with any resistance, it just swings wide open, so i guess the piece that stops it halfway or so came undone, snapped or otherwise needs replacing. does anyone know what this part is or how much it costs?
