Door locks opening and closing 850 1996

Hello, this isn't normally my forum, I know very little of Volvos without chrome, so I could use some advice from those who comprehend 850s.

My Dad gave me a lift to the airport the other day in his 850SE wagon, and as we got near the domestic terminal, the door lock buttons started opening and closing. They just popped up and done once or twice, then stopped. A couple of blocks later it did it again.

Were we just picking up some weird interfearance around the airport, or is this a sign of the central locking dying? Anyone experienced that one while going along before?

Any experience would be great, I'm going back to trying to figure out the mysteries of K-Jet.
