It mounts in the left rear. The installation package includes a small mounting plate with 4 holes in the bottom and a power cable adapter. You must drill thru the carpet the four holes. I would advise pulling up the carpet before drilling the holes. The floor pan is not flat. I wound up drilling in some of the low spots - you should be drilling in the high spots. The official kit requires a special tool to install the 4 bolts included in the kit. I used four regular bolts. The factory CD Changer cable is taped under the carpet to the shock tower (I don't know if this car has shock towers - but this is where the shocks would be if it had them). The power cable is taped to the wiring going to the turn signals. You cut a small hole in the carpet to run the wires thru to the changer. The only other gotcha in the rear installation is that there are then two bolts to mount the Changer to the mounting plate. If you use bolts that are too long, they will keep the changer from working. You then must remove the radio and plug the the changer cable into the back. Removing the radio is easy. Put the transmission into 1st gear. Then unplug the radio. You cann't remove the radio with the transmission in park. To remove the radio, push in on the tabs on the sides of the radio. Then pull the radio out. Plug it back in and connect the battery. When you turn on the radio, you will have to enter the security code. Make sure you have the 4 digit security code. If you don't have it, get it from your dealer. I think the total kit cost $100. This also included a cover for the changer.
