What Octane? V70-XC70 1998

The timing will only retard on hard or even moderate accerlation, not when going down the freeway. Althou keep in mind that the quality of the burn may effect mileage slightly. I have a 98 V70 AWD turbo and can't use regular I can hear it detonate when I do, but I can alternate between mid-grade and premium to save a little bit. In the NW the differance between regular and preminum is $3.60 on a complete tank of gas, so I save a about a buck when alternating @ 3/4 of a tank between midgrade and premium, not a lot...
