Connecting MP3 player to CR-814 Tape / Radio 1991

I case someone is interested of connecting MP3 player through original old CR-814 Stereo. Tried first to use the CD-in mini DIN at the back of the stereo with no success. Notised however the normal DIN plug with a jumperplug connected and marked EQ, this plug is a jumper after tape/radio/cd selector but before volume / balance and amplifier ( connection for equalizer ). I removed the jumper , made a cable with normal DIN plug in one end and in the other end a 3.5mm stereoplug female contact with switchfeature for jumpering to original Tape / Radio use when stereo male plug from MP3 player is not connected.
Works excellent ( compared to the CD player to cassette converter I first tested ).
I´m not sure if this can be used for other CR-8xx than CR-814.
