Steering U-Joint 850

Greetings All. Any help or info would be wonderful. I've got a 94 850 5-speed and need the replace the U-joint that is part of the steering system. It's under the hood, and before the rack. I'm not sure what it is officially called. It is an aluminum U-joint however. I have some decent play in my steering wheel, and it can be attributed to the wear of this U-joint I suspect. Has anybody had this replaced, or repaired it themselves? I usually do all my own work, however I really can’t find any info on replacing this part. Also, does anybody know where to get this part other then the dealer? I got quoted for a price of $132 + tax for the small piece. I have a part number, however I can’t seem to find anybody who has the part online. So if anybody has any info on this part/repair please reply. If anybody knows how to replace it, that would be even better. I have the Hayes shop book, but it talks about removing the whole rack, and never just replacing the U-joint. Thanks for your time, and have a great day.
