Lights Behind Climate control S80

the whole Electronic Climate Control (ECC) does not need to be fixed or replaced just for the light bulbs.

-remove the cover around the shifter
-remove the two inner screws under the ECC
-pull out the ECC from the dash (might take some effort)
-DO NOT DISCONNECT THE WIRE HARNESS (or you will trigger an SRS message that only the dealer can reset)
-if ECC unit must be unplugged then first disconnect the negative side of the battery in the trunk for at least 20mins before disconnecting the wire harness from the ECC
-use a thin flat head screwdriver to unscrew the bulb and holder from the back of the unit, they are deep in the holes. replace any bulbs as needed.

the bulbs are hard to find but the dealer should have them.

hope this helps
