Are the front struts hard to change? V70-XC70

My opinion...likely NOT the rubber shocks mounts with that mileage, but maybe the sway bar link. That is a link between the sway bar end and the strut.

The 2001's have sort of a double isolated front end. The A arm not only has rubber bushongs, but it is mounted to bolts that look further insulated. So there are more possible lose points than the older models.

I've read of people doing there own strut work with compressors. I leave that one to the pros.

A good source for shocks, mounts, and other parts is fcpgroton.com

Theit rubber shocks mounts are from scan tech...aftermarket parts. My mechanic said they looked very good. In my opinion, there is no need...usually, to replace the mounting plate. It is not too prone to wear and it is expensive.
