strange problem 850 1995

Sounds like maybe a bad ground somewhere but I'd be clueless where to start looking. I think there are several under the dash. As mentioned, the ignition switch would be suspect also. You may be able to shoot some contact cleaner in there. Probably nothing to do with it but I think the ABS circuit and fuse has some overlap with the speedometer, odometer, headlight circuits on some 850's as the first two and occasionally the headlights don't work with the ABS fuse removed when the ABS unit is removed for repair. You may also look on Bay 13 for some ideas. Good luck!
