Best OBD-2 software on the market to date--advice, please 850 1997

Checked into getting OBD-2 software for my 97 last year, but didn't get around to buying it. The last time I contacted Alex Peper, his would not turn off the service light or access airbag or other non-engine train codes. There was a UK firm whose software would access every code Volvo had, but they wanted a hundred pounds for their software and the same for their interface, which I thought a bit steep. Tried locating them on the net but couldn't find them. Is there anyone out there selling software and interfaces that will access all of Volvo's codes, including those for the 2000 and later models? Dick
