alex pepper obd 2 software? 850

My service egine light goes on in my 96 turbo wgn car for the first minute after start up then shuts off on its own. I have the alex pepper software according to it my vehicle has no fault codes stored and the MIL is not forced on. How do I shut off the the service engine light? Is this software capable of it ?
