Apparent fuel cut/loss of power/turbo boost at mid range 850 1996

I have recently had my 850 Auto chipped, it now has a tendecy to cut the power when I accelerate hard, in the mid range it appears to boost, then cut to about 5lbs boost, then boosts hard again, this happens a number of times before you are travelling at such a rate that you have to stop accelerating?

Has anyone had this problem?

It was fine before I chipped it, but then I wasn't producing the levels of boost that I am now....
