Hi, all,

Recently, I have noticed that there was a loud popping or cracking noise from somewhere on the roof of my 99 v70 (non turbo) during driving. It sounded as loud as a pebber hitting windshield at 70 mph speed.It happens everyday and I have not been able to locate the source since it lasted shorter than a socend. Seems there is no pattern. I could happen when the car was over a bumper or during turns. But seems it happened more often when the interior of car was heated up (I am in New York city. It is cold in the morning). I could not find anything loose. Does anyone have the same issue? My car has 65K miles on the clock with roof rails installed by the previous owner. Thank you for your inputs.
