Water Spiting Out of Exhaust 850 1994

Hey, water spits out of my exhaust pipe at start up in the morning after leaving the car in the garage overnight. The water spots dry and leave black soot spots on the garage floor. Maybe this is just do to a change in the weather to cool humid fall or a recent Volvoline change? I think I remember this happening in the past and going away but can't think when or way. Ti this something to be concerned about? It does leave a mess after several days. The car has burned oil at the rate of about a quart every 1000 miles for several years, but I don't notice any white or blue smoke from the exhaust after the car has warmed up. 138,000 miles and counting.....
