Hi,

YOu have it right, turn the ignition on and off four times within ten seconds, leave it on the fifth time, red led should flash twice, then press the button on the remote, you can programme up to five remotes on one alarm unit...

I have a similar problem, my alarm though has gone I think, as they don't make the same clicking noise that they did, fortunatley the alram is dis-armed... I took mine to the dealers, but they want the car for two days to find out what's wrong, I may well by an after market alarm, it's cheaper.
