Mount & Strut Replacement V70-XC70

Speaking of the sway bar bushing replacement, I unbolted the sway bar from the frame, but couldn't figure out how to get the bushing out of the u-bracket. The bushing isn't just sandwiched between the bracket and the frame, but the bracket holding the bushing to the frame seems to be a 2 piece design. However, I couldn't figure out how to get the bushing out. I couldn't pry the two pieces apart...they may be tack welded together. Can somebody tell be how to get the bushing out???
