Airmix problems... 850

Hey all,

It's nice that my ISP finally refreshed their DNS cache so I can once again visit the best resource available for us Volvo-heads.

Anyway, onto my question.

Returning from Thanksgiving, I happened to use the Airmix control to bring in some fresh, unheated air. However, when I closed the control, the cold airstream coming through the two center vents did not shut off completely. I have a strange suspicion something broke loose in my dashboard, but I'm not sure what. Before I make another foray into the under-the-dashpad repairs in the coldish Minnesota winter, what should I look for or what should I expect to see disconnected under the dashboard?

Thankfully, I can shut the individual vents and keep most of the cold out...but I'm a stickler for doing things right...

Thanks all,

sperryrand
