do you wash your car with a wash n wax type formula, if so its probably the wax in that on the glass...its easy to test!

get a bottle of pure alchol (or methalated spririts) and throughly wipe the screen over with a a cloth with this, turning the cloth frequently to keep exposing a new bit of cloth, then wash the screen with a different cloth and some washing up detergent...now see if it better....

the above process should degrease the screen, you may need to repeat a few time to get it all off...
