leak 850

You may want to check often overlooked oil filler pipe cap gasket (cheap at 10 Krona) A bad seal will allow oil to run down back of the pipe and fill spark plug wire bay (covered) and drip down the back of the engine and into the wind draft- big mess. Also check that your idler valve (feeds from crankcase into throttle body intake rubber manifold) is not gunked up to the point of not operating. This is your blurbo to crankcase check valve function to prevent intake boost from boosting your crankcase pressure and causing seal weapage everywhere. Make sure the TB inlet rubber mainifold has not deteriorated overtime from the bypass oil. This will cause a hole in the rubber boot at the 6 oclock position near the TB clamping attach flange. Performance suffers and an O2 leak cause engine light fault. I think my main seal time is soon.
