light bulb out picture S40-V40

Hi again,

I'm attaching a picture so it's more clear which panel I'm talking about. It's the panel, including the gear indicator, surrounding the shifter as you can see. How do I remove it so I can replace the light bulb underneath? I gently tried prying it open with a screwdriver but it didn't want to pop out easily. I would rather replace the bulb myself rather than paying the dealer $90. Thanks for your help.
