Mass Air Flow Sensor 850 1993

I have both but I can't locate the sensor. The Haynes Manual doesn't have barely anyhting about it and the Chilton's doesn't really secribe where it's located. It says when you remove it you have to uncrew it from the intake hose but I sure can't find any sensors other than the MAF on the intake hose. Could someone tell me specifically where it's located?
