axle shaft install tip 850

if you use the Haynes manual.. it tells you to disconnect the spindle/hub from the lower ball joint....DON'T!!! too much trouble...
just take out the two A-arm bolts....they slide right out, but the ball joint can be a pain in the ass to disconnect...
also, get the shafts and THEN check to see if they have the correct nuts on the end....i had to order one for each side from VOLVO. better to replace them..

remember, there are two different size ends..doesnt really make any diff what size nut, cause the splines are the same..
