HVAC system damper motor reset?? 850

Hello all,

Does anyone have the instructions from the Haynes manual on how to reset the stop points on the HVAC damper motor? My Haynes manual is somewhere in Houston, and I'm in Michigan.

Anyhow, the background is that I went into the dash to fix the damper motor shaft, which was split. However, after I fixed that, the damper motor seems to be in the wrong position. I get airflow from floor and defroster vents, but not the dash vents. Also, when I turn on the car, both the recirv and ac lights blink for about 15 sec before returning to normal.

I figured this is because I didn't reset the stop points on the motor...

anyhow, any help is appreciated!
