Sudden drop in mileage, rough running 850 1994

So, about 2 months ago my 94 wagon started feeling a bit rough during acceleration and idling in drive - just perceptable to me as the daily driver not to passengers. Just a bit more vibration and engine noise. Average mileage dropped from 22 city driving to 18 mpg with the same daily route and use of car!

Thinking I needed to do a tune-up I replaced the air filter, changed the spark plugs, checked ignition rotor (new 6 months ago and still fine) and plug wires (new last summer and still fine). Mileage climbed a little bit after this work but still below what it was before - now about 18.5 mpg.

Recent work: EGR & throttle cleaned in June, PNP switch replaced in February, new fuel pump in June.

Is there something I am missing that I can do to improve running?

THanks for your insight!
