35 MPH howl from front end from my R car 850 1997

My 850R start to howl at around 35MPH and up, in the front end. It has been getting a little louder over time, is this something major and will it keep me from taking the car on a 2-3 hour road trip??

Also do you people out there think this car corrners as well as it should, I think it should hold the road just a little better than it does. How much of a difference does a strut brace make?? And who has the best one for the best price??
