Loosing coolant S80 1999

If it is the waterpump which is not visible from the side of the engine you will probably not want to do it yourself unless you are a really good mechanic. It is driven by the timing belt which has to be renued at the same time if contaminated by antifreeze. The only good news is you are close to the 105k timing belt change and that will save money to get both done at the same time. Also water pumps are rare failurs on these cars. Most dealerships do not change them unless noise during inspection at the timing belt change. I have a personal problem thinking the pump will last 210k for two timing belts but they must think it will or don't care about our money wasted. Honda recommends the pump be changed with the timing belt every time.
