S70 oil light comes on at startup-oil pickup tube?? S70

My 2000 S70 has recently developed a problem where the oil light stays on for about 30 seconds after startup on a cold morning. The oil level is fine. The dealer says that the oil pickup tube is bad and wants $400 to fix it. I know quite a bit about working on Volvos. So, what is involved in doing this job? How much in parts?
