850 Engine cuts out and will not restart immediately 850

My 1994, 850 has had two episodes in the past six months where the engine dies while driving. After it dies I can turn over the ignition but it doesn't catch. After ten minutes or so it starts none the worse for the wear. Any ideas of the cause? It happened twice once after ten minutes of normal city driving and once after 30 minutes or so.???
